This campground is laid out very nicely with large, shady sites that are level and wide. Most sites have grassy areas in front of the campers. The laundry room was very large and immaculate. There was a large community room in the laundry building with a huge screen TV. The campground is very convenient to downtown Missoula which is a lovely town with neat stores and restaurants. Our biggest complaint was the construction site next door which started early and ended late. Unfortunately, our campsite was the last row right next to the construction and we could not move because the campground was full. There were campers here that seemed to be using the campground for their base camp while working in the area, but did not cause a problem. The campground landscaping was beautiful with flowers, fountains and green grass, which the staff really worked to keep that way. We liked this place well enough to camp here twice within 2 weeks.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed in. In fact, we originally planned to stay there only 2 nights but liked the park so much, we stayed 7 days. Our site was level with grass in front and very large. Our hosts were superb from the owner to all of the staff. They were very accommodating when we decided to extend our stay and worked with us so as not to have to move around. When we needed someone to care of our dog while we went to Yellowstone, they found someone for us right away; we didn't have to look for someone on our own. The laundry room and restrooms/showers were immaculate. The only drawback was being 35 miles from Yellowstone but the drive was pleasant and scenic, so not a real problem.

This is a small but nice campground located on Blue Lake. The site was just the right size and level. They did ask that you not put out outdoor rugs on the grass which was everywhere and since it had rained it was slightly muddy. The Lewis & Clark State Park was only 2 miles from the campground which is great to bicycle to and ride around. There were some permanent sites but not too many. The area was located beside a soybean field and away from traffic noise. We stayed 2 nights.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. Large level sites, beautiful landscaping, friendly staff, and quiet. We stayed only one night to visit close by Cumberland Falls Resort Area. We stayed here in a motorhome and would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Great campground! Very large and divided into different camping areas. We stayed in the Island area which was perfect. In fact, we decided we had the best site (no. 247) in the entire campground. The sites are some of the largest we have ever seen in a campground and level. The Island area is not close to the office, pool, bathhouse, or laundry and does not have cable TV. Just need to be aware if you have those needs. They have a pancake breakfast every morning which is cheap and delicious. The rate may be high but we thought it was well worth the extra bucks. The campground is conveniently located to many area attractions including Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore. We stayed here 5 nights and would stay longer if we were not headed elsewhere.
